PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WFLA) – Two women were arrested Wednesday after allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover police officer at two separate massage parlors.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, agents from the Narcotics Task Force conducted an undercover investigation after receiving reports of illegal prostitution at two massage parlors in Port Charlotte.
In both incidents, deputies entered the business and requested massages, according to a sheriff’s office report. While they were lying on the table, the masseuse offered them sex for an additional fee.
Investigators said the first suspect, Zhang Yulin, 44, solicited sex from one of the undercover agents working as a massage therapist at Magnolia Foot and Body Massage, 3178 Tamiami Trail, Unit B. The investigation revealed that Zhang did not have a license to practice massage therapy.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested Zhang and charged her with soliciting prostitution and operating a massage parlor without a license.
Law enforcement also arrested Lee Shen, 54, for soliciting sex from an undercover police officer while working as a massage therapist at Magic Massage, 4120 Tamiami Trail #2.
Investigators found that Shen had been arrested on prostitution charges in September 2023 and had his massage therapy license revoked in June as a result.
In addition to the new prostitution charge, police have also charged her with using or attempting to use a revoked massage license, making it her second time being charged with the crime.
