As Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship prepares for its debut in Florida, guests can expect new Marvel-themed entertainment options onboard, the company shared earlier this month.
The Wish-class Disney Destiny, set to depart from Fort Lauderdale in November, will feature a hero-villain theme throughout the ship’s live shows and dining venues. The Black Panther-inspired Grand Hall will host the “Sounds of Wakanda” music extravaganza, featuring two traveling storytellers, Xayah and Gamble, who will tell the story of the classic Disney villain.
The same duo will host a variety of experiences throughout each voyage, including “With Great Power: The Marvel Comedy Show.” This adults-only show takes guests on a journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe with sketch comedy.
“Disney Hercules” brings the larger-than-life character to a live musical stage show exclusive to Disney Destiny. A new twist on the familiar story of Anna, Elsa and Olaf, Frozen: A Musical Spectacular is fun for guests of all ages. “DisneySea: The Adventure” stars popular characters from Disney and Pixar in original productions.
Heroes and villains from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel come to life throughout the ship. Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King offers a musical dining experience with themed cuisine celebrating Simba’s journey to becoming king.

World of Marvel brings Guardians of the Galaxy characters to life and even comes with a mixtape from the movie. 1923 is a venue named after the year Walt Disney Studios opened, transporting guests back in time.
While many of the ship’s experiences are aimed at all ages, some venues are created with adults in mind. Visit De Vil’s to enjoy cocktails in the stylish lounge or indulge in “spirits” in the Haunted Mansion Parlor. Cask and Cannon has a Pirates of the Caribbean theme, while The Sanctum has a Doctor Strange feel.

Heroes and villains also appear in the most unexpected places, such as the stern, where Spider-Man and Spiderbot cling to the outside of the ship.
Disney Destiny will celebrate its maiden voyage on November 20th, launching its first season of four- and five-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
