TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – “The Most Magical Place on Earth” just got a little pricey.
Walt Disney World has increased prices on tickets, annual passes, and other offerings, as Nexstar’s Scott Gustin reported.
Single-day park tickets have topped $200 for the first time in Disney World’s 54-year history. Park attendees will have to hand over $209 per person just to get into the Magic Kingdom gates during next November and December holidays.
Prices for the same date in 2025 come in at just under $200 per day.
Annual pass prices also saw a bump on Wednesday. Prices ranged from $20 to $80 depending on pass type. Sorcerer Pass and Pixie Pass renewal rates remained the same.
Pixie Dust: $489 (was $469) Pirate: $869 (was $829) Magician: $1,099 (was $1,079)
In addition to individual ticket and annual pass prices, theme park parking has increased to $35 per day. Disney has increased the peak price of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This allows guests to bypass longer lines for $45 a day. This is up from the previous maximum of $39.
The company also announced price increases at California’s Disneyland Resort.
In Nexstar’s statement to KTLA, a company spokesperson said the price increases reflect increases in resort operations and employee wages.
“Disney Parks offers a comprehensive range of ticket, hotel and dining options in one day, designed to fit a wide range of needs and budgets for everyone who visits. Our commitment to creating magical experiences for everyone is at the heart of what we do, and that will never change,” the statement read.
