OCALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — An Okaloosa County dog who reported lawmakers to a grandmother who fell on the sidewalk is considered a hero.
According to an official from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the man rushed to call 911 because his wife wouldn’t come back from walking his dog.
Body camera footage shows the man telling the aide who answered the man that his wife was missing for more than an hour, although he normally only had 10 to 15 minutes.

The footage was then cut, showing the aide driving officer, and then a woman was heard saying, “There’s a dog!”
“Hey, baby. Where’s your mom?” the aide asked the dog. “Show me where your mom is.”
A moment later, the aide found a woman lying on the sidewalk.
“Did the dog bring it?” the woman asked the aide. “He didn’t try to leave, he came back to me many times.”
The deputy chief explained to the woman that the dog Eeyore ran to the police car and led her to the woman.
“He’s a good girl. He’s a very good girl,” the aide told Eeyore.
“Yeah, Eeyore, you’re a good girl! Grandma loves you,” the woman said.
