TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay travelers have a new way to reach the Caribbean soon. Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Breeze Airways have announced non-stop flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica, starting February 11, 2026.

The new service marks Breeze Airways’ first international route from Tampa International and the 30th total destination from the airport. Flights will run seasonally twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays until final government approval is pending.

“This is a major milestone for both Breeze Airways and Tampa International Airport,” said TPA CEO Michael Stevens. “Tampa Bay travelers will soon enjoy convenient access to Montego Bay’s world-class beaches and vibrant culture.

David Neelman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, highlighted Tampa’s role in the growth of the airline. “Tampa is one of the original launch cities and we are excited to bring our first international flight here,” he said.

Founded in 2021, Breeze flies over 300 routes serving more than 80 cities across the United States. The airline is promoting low-cost models with additional amenities such as rising premium seats, onboard Wi-Fi, free family seats, and changes and cancellation fees.

Introductory fares for the new Montego Bay flight start at $99 each way and are currently available on the Breeze website.

With this addition, Tampa International Airport will bolster its growing reputation as a hub for both domestic and international travel, expanding its affordable options for Florida passengers looking for Caribbean destinations.
