JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — A missing woman has been found safe after crashing her car and spending time naked in the woods.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls around 5:35am on Oct. 2 about a naked woman lying in a ditch in the 4400 block of Johnston Road.
The caller indicated to the deputy that the woman appears to be subject to an alert for missing persons shared on social media, the deputy said.

Deputies and St. Lucie County Firefighters responded to the scene, where they found Jennifer Fisher, 53, from Jacksonville.
Fisher is the owner of the White Acura MDX, which crashed into a canal in the Indorio and Johnston Road areas earlier this week, lawmakers said.
While talking to the deputy, Fisher said he crashed the car, took off his clothes and entered the woods with the aim of staying there for a few days.
According to SLCSO, Fisher’s only complaint was the irritation caused by a fire bite.
Fisher was taken to a nearby hospital for a medical evaluation.
The investigation is underway.
