Centre Hill, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampaman, 62, died Thursday after authorities said they could not escape from the car after a violent crash in Sumter County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 4:30am at the intersection of CR-48 and SR-471.

The 62-year-old was moving west on a CR-48 in a dump truck filled with sand.
Once he reached the intersection, the dump truck driver turned wide right onto the SR-471 and crossed the furniture truck path between the rooms, officials said.
The 41-year-old Lakeland man, a truck driver who goes from his room crashed into a dump truck, and the trooper said both vehicles erupted into flames.
Authorities say a Lakeland man escaped from his car with minor injuries. However, officials said the Tampa driver was unable to do so and died at the scene.
No further information was available immediately.
