TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – For Florida people hoping for a Covid-19 vaccine, both Publix and Walgreens Pharmacies have announced they are currently offering shots without a prescription.
This availability announced plans to end all vaccine mandates shortly after Florida State Surgeons’ public.
Trump has expressed his reservations over Florida and eliminates the vaccine order: “We need to be very careful.”
“The Florida Department of Health will work with the governor to end all Florida vaccine mandates,” said Dr. Joseph Radapop, a Florida surgeon general.
State leaders have recently changed community recommendations for everyone, leaving their choices to each individual instead.
“You put it in your body because it has a relationship between your body and your God,” Radapop said. “I don’t have it right. You want to put a different vaccine in your body, God bless you. I hope you make an informed decision.”
Costs can appear for those who choose shots.
We spoke with insurance experts who told us that out-of-payment of the vaccine would drop to consumers and label the vaccine as selective or selective.
“If insurers can cut costs, they’ll cut costs,” said Reedus Smith, regional president of Health Group. “That would be what we call selective or selective. In other words, in most cases, they’re not going to cover it like normal.”
2025-2026 Both Pfizer and Moderna covid vaccines will be available to customers. The Florida Pharmacy Board has revealed that customers can choose to book or walk-in options.
