ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – An Epic Universe guest passed away after riding a Stardust Racer on Wednesday night, NBC affiliate Wesh announced.
According to a statement from Universal, the guest was found to not respond after riding a roller coaster and was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
A statement from a universal spokesman said:
“We are working with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office after a tragic event involving guests from the Epic Universe on Wednesday night. Guests boarded the Stardust Racer and then stopped responding after being taken to the hospital where the guest later died.
