Palm Coast, Fla. (WFLA) – Deputies were called to rescue the man on August 28th after he died in Florida Marshland in the darkness for more than an hour.

A body camera video released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office shows the deputy and commander roaming the Princess Place Preserve in search of him.

The man was lost after heavy rain, but it was due to poor weather conditions, and the agency’s drone was also delayed.

The sheriff’s office said they had retrieved the man’s GPS coordinates from the initial call of distress, so they could find him and come to the rescue on foot.

According to the sheriff’s office, the missing man was in deep-boobed water when he found him.

In the video, three individuals are separated from the swamp, so you can hear the sounds of their feet sucking into the deep water at their ankles.

Medical personnel evaluated the man after being rescued, but were not seriously injured.
