Three foreigners charged for illegal re-entry

Below is an official statement from the US Lawyer’s Office for the Central District of Florida regarding the indictment of three foreigners for illegal re-entry.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe has announced his return to the charges claiming Francisco Juarez Hernandez (25, Mexico), Javier Melendez Serrano (29, Honduras), Israeli Godines Carillo (27, Guatemala), and formerly Israeli Godines Carillo (27). If convicted, each faces the biggest penalty of two years in federal prison.

According to the indictment, Juarez Hernandez voluntarily attended the United States on August 3, 2025 after being deported earlier on November 10, 2020 and then deported on August 3, 2025. He was deported on June 25th, 2019. These individuals had not received consent from the Attorney General or the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission to the United States.

The indictment is a formal charge of defendant committing one or more violations of federal criminal code, and all defendants are presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty.

The case is being investigated by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. They are being charged by Assistant United States Attorney David B. Methrobian.

These cases are part of Take Back America, a national initiative that marshals the Department of Justice’s complete resources to fight off illegal immigrant aggression, achieve complete exclusion of cartels and cross-border criminal organizations (TCOs), and protects communities from perpetrators of violent crime.
