Florida Republicans may not support Trump’s bid to end mail-in votes

For years, Florida GOPs have spent millions of people voting for email in, but in return they have won.

But will the state GOP support the efforts made by President Trump to end their success? President Trump said he intends to sign an executive order banning mail-in voting.

President Donald Trump also said he would end mail-in voting and sign an executive order requesting voter ID. He says it would eliminate voter fraud.

“Constitutional authorities who govern the voting process in states like Florida will be challenged by the president’s executive order,” says GOP election lawyer Lindsey Brock.

“The nation is merely a ‘agent’ to the federal government in counting votes and counting,” the president said.

Bullock says the state and federal government play a role when it comes to election laws.

According to Article 4 of the U.S. Constitution, state legislatures are empowered to define the “time, place, and method” of federal elections.

This involves states like Florida having the power to finalize elections and establish their own policies for mail-in voting.

Florida has determined whether mail-in voting is available and requires voters attempting to vote by mail to be made on request. Florida also oversees voter registration, vote returns, and voter counting and processing.

President Trump says in-person voting is the only way to trust. But when it comes to military personnel overseas, how can they achieve that? Even if they vote in person at a base overseas, their votes still need to be mailed or delivered from the location. Federal law allows military personnel and citizens living abroad to register and vote for absentees.

The Constitution specifically states that Congress, not the president, can “create or modify” state election regulations.

Not only Florida, but the Republican National Committee, hand-picked by the then Trump tribe, spent millions mailing votes to voters, and the success led President Trump to the White House.
