Union County, N.C. (Queen City News) – Union County families say after discovering that their daughter was allegedly filmed by a flight attendant at American Airlines, who is currently compiled.
In a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday, the family alleges that their then-11-year-old daughter was secretly recorded while using the toilet during an August 2023 flight from Charlotte to Orlando.

Thompson worked as a crew member during the flight, according to the lawsuit. The family said they didn’t think until recently that Thompson was under federal investigation for child exploitation.
Thompson pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography in an attempt to sexually exploit a child. He has since been sentenced to more than 18 years in federal prison.
