TAMPA, Fla. — US lawyer Gregory W. Kehoe has announced that a federal ju judge has convicted Lorenzo Valerio Popoca (Mexico 31, Mexico) of conspiring to methamphetamine transport two counts. Valerio-Popoca is realized for a minimum of 10 years in federal prisons at each count. His sentencing hearing is set for October 29, 2025.

Valerio Popoca mediated and coordinated the delivery of half a kilogram of palmetto methamphetamine, according to testimony released at the trial. On March 30, 2018, Valerio-Popoca brokered and coordinated the delivery of two kilograms of methamphetamine at Sun City Centre. Valerio Popoca was a fugitive until November 2022 and was arrested in Pasadena, Texas for trafficking 10 kilograms of methamphetamine.

The lawsuit was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Department with support from the Hillsboro County Sheriff’s Office, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office and the Pasadena (Texas) Police Department. He is being charged by US lawyer David J. Pardo.
