Key West, Fla. (WFLA) – A six-year-old stole the show last Saturday as the youngest contestant ever to a contest like the annual Ernest Hemingway Ali.

On July 24th, “Pint-sized Daddy” Kiefer Haney appeared at Sloppy Joe’s Bar with over 60 grown men and competed in the preliminary round for a look-like contest with the frequently used Saloon Hemingway himself.

Haney made a considerable impression on the judges, gaining immediate support from several fans, securing the spot in the 6-year-old’s round.

According to the Florida Keys News Bureau (FKNB), the winner of the contest was announced as 69-year-old Tim Stockwell.

The festival celebrates Nobel Prize-winning author Ernest “Papa” Hemingway, who lived in Key West in the 1930s and is known for writing popular literary titles “Bell Fees and Not” during this period.
