Florida-based ice cream bars are available nationwide

Harrisburg, Pa. (WHTM) – More than 100,000 cases of ice cream bars sold nationwide have been recalled due to potential listeria contamination.

A total of 110,292 cases of various ice cream bars by Florida-based Rich Ice Cream have been recalled due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogen, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Currently, this recall includes the following products with lot numbers 24351 to 25156:

Chocolate Crunch Cake Bar Strawberry Shortcake Bar Rich Bar Cookie Bar Orange Cream Bar Fudge Frenzy Bar Cotton Candy Bar Bar Sour Blue Asperie Bar Sour Sour Cherry Bar Cool Water Melon Bar

In addition to Florida, the FDA says these recalled ice cream bars have been distributed to California, Ohio, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Arizona and Alabama. Wisconsin, New England, Nassau, Bahamas.

As of today, on July 25th, 2025, this recall status was marked as in progress.

According to the FDA, the recall is “Class II.” This means that exposure to a recalled product can cause “temporary or medically reversible negative health effects.”
