NAPOLIA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Naples man who wanted in connection with the April shooting was arrested in Colorado and is now behind a bar.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Antonio Michael Liceuta was arrested by Colorado law enforcement and handed over to Florida late Thursday night.
Authorities say resatisation is being sought in connection with the April 10 shooting that led to the death of 18-year-old Aaliyah Gonzalez.
“This arrest sends a clear message. If you commit a violent crime in Collier County, even if you run, it won’t stop until you’re found, arrested and accountable. “We are proud of the relentless efforts of our detectives and we are grateful for the support of our Colorado law enforcement partners.”
The lawyer said a 15-year-old boy was temporarily detained at Alligator Alcatraz.
Licout is accused of firing fire on the white Lexus carrying Gonzalez after an argument broke out between the two groups. Gonzalez and her friends tried to leave the area, but detectives say they were fired when they tried to escape.
Witnesses identified Ressets as a shooter, and said detectives spoke about the oral altercation that took place just before the shooting.
According to the CCSO, Ressets was a fugitive until July 11th, and was arrested in Alamosa, Colorado, where he was hiding in his relative’s home.
Licout was taken to Collier County, where it was booked at the Naples Prison Centre.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office not only used a deadly weapon to aggravate the battery and worsened the assault, but also charged him with two-degree murder.
