(Nexstar) – Are you suffering from a lack of cactus flowers and chicken creatures at your local restaurant?
It probably won’t be that long.
Texas Roadhouse is expected to open 14 new restaurants in 11 states by the end of 2025. Texas Roadhouse Inc. (headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, not in Texas) is also expanding the footprint of Bubba’s 33, the Bubba’s 33, which has four new locations in 2025.
Plans to expand Texas Roadhouse’s operations are consistent with comments from Jerry Morgan, who announced the company’s first quarter revenue results in May.
“We are continuing to grow our business consistently through new store developments, including openings for the 50th Baba 33 restaurants this quarter,” Morgan said, adding that we are planning to pursue funding our development pipeline, maintaining our existing restaurants and acquisition of franchises.
For customers, this means the next city’s new Texas Roadhouse restaurant.

Texas Roadhouse also celebrated a bit of a feat in May when a foodservice industry research firm determined that Texas Roadhouse has become the country’s largest casual dining chain in terms of sales. Restaurant sales skyrocketed to $5.5 billion in 2024. This was enough to overtake Olive Garden ($5.2 billion), which had held the title of America’s largest casual dining chain since 2018.
