Sheriff Bill Plumel said the two brothers arranged for a sale on Facebook and traveled to the meetup location. Six people surrounded the car, climbed once into the back seat and grabbed the driver’s neck.
Two of the six pulled out their guns. At least two shots were fired during the subsequent struggle, hitting one of the brothers and one of the suspects.
Four of the six people involved in the incident were taken into custody, but two remained in operation at the time of this report. Plumel said they are considered armed and dangerous.
“My message to those individuals. If you’re there, you’re best to turn yourself around because it’s much easier than when we find you,” Prummell said.
