(Hill) – The Florida Republicans are selling products promoting Florida immigration detention facilities known as “Alligator Alcatraz” before President Donald Trump visited the site on Tuesday.

The party sells men and women’s t-shirts for sale for $30, with a $27 drink cooler for $15.

Trump will visit the detention facility Trump has supported the governor next year on Tuesday along with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), Homeland Security Department Christa Noem and Rep. Byron Donald (R-FLA.).

“We’re off to Crocodile Alcatraz, that’s the East Coast version,” Trump told reporters Tuesday. “It’s very exciting and should be very good. We worked very hard on it with Ron and everyone. I think it’s great.”

The site includes softside holding units for hundreds of detainees through federally funded partnerships. The Florida Emergency Management Department oversees its construction and management. Additional holding units will be added under the contract until next month.

The facility is expected to cost around $450 million a year. This comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Shelter and Services Program, which was used to house asylum seekers during the Biden administration.
