FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WFLA) – A father and daughter were rescued from the sea after they left overboard on a Disney cruise line voyage, passengers reported on social media.
The Disney Dream ship was sailing from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale on Sunday when the child fell into the water for unknown reasons, as was first reported on the street.

Her father jumped into the water after her. According to a statement from Disney Cruise Line, both passengers were rescued and returned to the ship “within minutes.”

It is reportedly unclear how the girl fell overboard as the ship has a plexiglass panel along the railing at the edge of the deck.
