Kelly’s homemade ice cream is known for its annual “Ice cream for breakfast” campaign, raising funds for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital. The first clock is known for breakfast (and brunch and lunch). Now these beloved home businesses are gathering for sweet surprises.
From June 20th to July 4th, children dine at participating Central Florida First Watch restaurants will win a free scoop of Kelly’s Signature Cake Batter n’ Sprinkles on their kids’ menu purchases, but the consumables will be the last.
“The partnership with First Watch feels like this natural fit. The two local brands come together to create something special for the community,” said Kelly Seidl, owner of Kelly’s homemade ice cream.

“When we celebrate our 10th anniversary, it means sharing this moment in a way that brings joy to our family. The breakfast ice cream scoop is a bit unexpected, but it’s something that’s memorable.
In fact, next month, Kelly’s is 10 years old, a decade-long Odyssey where the Seidl brand has grown from its first scoop shop in Orlando’s Audubon Park Garden district to a six-shot mini empire. The first watch said Shane Scheebley, senior vice president of culinary strategy, is proud to be able to respect their success.
“For kids who grew up in Florida, like me, summer isn’t perfect without ice cream,” Shybly said. “That’s why I’m excited to team up with Kelly’s, creating unexpected summer fun. It proves that ice cream isn’t just about desserts.

Prior to the in-store promotion, First Watch is hosting two Sunday Fundae events.
2 noon, June 22: Altamonte Springs Restaurant, 720 E. Altamonte Drive, 2 noon, June 29: UCF Location, 3402 Technological Ave.
When he appears, Kelly’s famous pink ice cream truck is on the scene, offering a free scoop to the first 100 customers from the first watch. Stick to those receipts.

“As a fellow Florida-based company, here in Orlando, we have deep roots with 30 restaurants and nearly 1,000 employees,” said Dave Gerau, Regional Vice President of First Watch. “The community is at the heart of everything we do, and coming with Kelly felt like a great way to surprise our kids and families with something special this summer.
Not surprising, Seidl feels the same.
“We are always looking for new ways to spread smiles in our community,” Seidl said.

A free scoop of Kelly’s Bestselling Cake Batter n’ Sprinkles is available by purchasing kids’ menu items and is automatically offered on the sides of children’s chocolate chip pancakes, half waffles, French toast and other menu items.
The first clock locations to participate include Longwood, Sandrake, UCF, Mills Park, Oviedo, Oviedo, South I Drive Orlando, Nona Place, Apopka, Otown West, Alta Monte Springs and Winter Springs.
