TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Walmart drone delivery will soon be coming to Tampa and Orlando, Florida’s first cities to test new services.
Until now, drone delivery was only available in Dallas, Texas and Bentonville, Arkansas, but the company announced Thursday it is expanding to other parts of the country.
Along with Tampa and Orlando, drone delivery has also come to Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Houston, Texas.
Walmart is the first retailer to experiment with drone delivery on a large scale, the company said.
The service has come to 100 stores, but no additional information is provided regarding any particular location.

The retailer has partnered with drone delivery service Wing, which said it can deliver orders in 30 minutes.
Walmart said the service can be used on anything from groceries, wellness products and household items to over-the-counter medications. Some of the most common products delivered by drone are fresh fruits, valuable eggs, ice cream and pet food.
