Panama City, Fla. (WFLA) – A shark was caught swimming on camera by a woman on a guided tour near Panama City Beach.

Tour operator Chris Farley captured the moment a shark swam to a woman on Flippin’s fantastic adventure.

“It’s fine, I’m fine,” Farley said with peace of mind.

Sharks are believed to be black chips, Farley said in an Instagram post.

Black chip sharks are common in Florida’s coastal waters, bays and estuaries, according to Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

“Remember: this is their home. There are many shark species and humans in the bay. We’re definitely not on the menu,” Farley said.

Black chip sharks are active and are common on the surface. They usually form large schools during transition, the FWC said.
