ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is offering rewards for information about an attempted temptation earlier this month.
On May 11th, just after 10am, a woman was walking her dog around Addanson Street and Lee Road.
The woman told police that as she continued her walk, Toyota suddenly turned and blocked her path. The driver then pointed the woman a handgun and ordered her to get in the car, but she was able to escape and the SUV drove.
Police later recovered the four runners and were reportedly stolen earlier that morning.
Surveillance video from where the vehicle was filmed captured the suspect just before he went missing. He appears to have average builds and dark hair.
Crimeline offers a $1,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
If anyone recognizes the man in the video, or if there is further information about this incident, you should contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or Crimeline directly at 1-800-423-TIPS.
