PENSACOLA, Fla. (WFLA) — Drone pilots helped rescue a girl caught in a rift on a Florida beach last week.
The shark fisherman was in the right place when he spotted a teenage girl struggling with choppy water from Pensacola Beach.

In a video by Robert Nay, a shark fisherman pilot showed the drone carrying a floating device over the choppy water.
The teenage girl was able to grab a flotation device that could have saved her life.
Witnesses told NBC News that the girl appears tired as the drone approaches. She was fighting the rough seas for a few minutes.
NBC News reported that the girl was checked out by the medical team and sent home in clean health.
