MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) – A Miami nurse was arrested Friday after police said she had taken her mother out of intubation and told hospital staff “my mother wants to go to peace.”
According to an arrest report obtained by NBC affiliate WTVJ, the mother of 54-year-old Juansette Sabrina Green said she was hospitalized at Northshore Medical Center on May 5 after she began experiencing shortness of breath.

She was eventually transferred to intensive care unit, where she was intubated due to poor health.
According to the report, Green called the kids on May 16 to tell her that her grandmother was not doing well and asked her to come to the hospital.
When Green said “I’m pulling out,” they were all in the ICU room and had removed the mother’s breathing tube, authorities reported.
The alarm went off and medical staff rushed to the room. They began to give Green’s mother assistance, but Green told them to stop and she said she wanted her mother to “go to peace.”
Her mother was declared dead after a while.
By the time Green arrived at the hospital, the greenery had disappeared. However, they later found Green at her home, where she was detained on aggravated manslaughter charge of an elderly or disabled adult.
According to the arrest report, Green is a licensed nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the medical field.
The judge ordered her to be held without restraint during the court hearing over the weekend, WTVJ reported.
