Universal Epic Universe Portal connects to the new theme parkland

One of the distinctive appearances of the epic universe is its portal, a physical gateway that leads to a world of themes. They are round walkthrough chutes topped with spires with symbols corresponding to future lands. At the top of each curve there is a bit of prose.

The first portal is located at the entrance to Epic and opens at Celestial Park, an introductory site for the theme park. From there, four more portals connect to Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, Magical World of Magic World – Ministry of Magic, How to Train Dragons – Burke Island.

The tunnel ceilings and walls include strike lighting and digital screens with special effects, but with the exception of the Super Nintendo World Escalator, there are no moving parts to these iconic transitions. But they are impressive photography opportunities and already grand trademarks.

Universal Orlando’s latest theme park will open on May 22nd. This is something you can see on a clockwise tour of the epic portal.

Enter the celestial park

Top: The main portal, which Universal called Chronos, is topped with Spinning Armillary, an old-fashioned astronomical tool. The other four land symbols descend through a 78-foot structure, including the “Harry Potter” Time Turner, Mario, Shadow Dragon, and the purple sphere of the Dark Universe and its classic monster.

“By this gate, find greenery and a magnificent world to satisfy your dreams.”

Around the edge: A circular motif that repeats throughout the epic adjoins the tunnel.

Inside: More aluminum rally images resembling the gear on a watch. This can be seen in small quantities in other portals.

The other side: Pass through the celestial park, including the Helios Grand Hotel, in the distance. Behind the Cronos contains the final words for the departing visitors. “What path to the chart, what answer is in your mind?”

Super Nintendo’s boundary to the world

Top: Three stars appear from the colorful tube, featuring power-up mushrooms, gold coins and fire flowers. Just above the entrance, a round badge flips between the 8-bit Mario characters and the more modern animated Mario.

It is written: “I’m going here!” – one of Mario’s catchphrases in video games.

Around the Edge: Heads of characters such as Princess Peach, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Golden Medallion format.

Inside: Arrange astronomical symbols, then a turquoise screen, then a green warp pipe, with upward facing escalators.

The other side: Visitors arrive inside Princess Peach Castle, then head out into a multi-level video game environment.

Illuminate the dark universe

Top: Electrical gimmick with connections to Frankenstein’s manners, reinforced by stones and roots. The power source passes through the land.

It says, “I’m alive! I’m alive!” – An exclamation point by Henry Frankenstein from the 1931 film Frankenstein.

Around the edge: prosperity of curved architecture (and screaming skulls).

Inside: astronomical symbols, purple screen with lightning effect, wooden rafters. Here, the audio could potentially be raised to the notch.

The opposite side: the village of Dark Moor, starting at the entrance to the catacombs and the cemetery.

Swirling through the magical world of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Top: extended arms and wands, on a single row, towards the sky.

It says, “In a dream, we should completely enter our own world.” – Snipe about Harry sleeping in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” from Dumbledore

Around the edge: An array of eight elders’ canes.

Inside: astronomical symbols, blue screen effect, tiles.

The other side: Paris in the 1920s, including the monumental Phoenix Arch, across from it depicts Potterverse animals and the “Fantastic Beast” films.

Fly to How to Train Your Dragon – Berk Island

Top: Above the symbol representing toothless, the Alpha Dragon, and the Viking lookout structure.

It says, “We, my friends, a dragon!” – Variations of the last line of 2010’s “How to Train a Dragon” movie.

Around the edge: various dragon symbols, viking style.

Inside: astronomical symbols, blue screen effect, tiles.

The opposite side: carved stone slabs (focusing on “many dragons”) live in symbolic harmony, following a lagoon with giant statues of dragons and Vikings.
