The Florida man was charged after shooting a neighbor’s cow five times with the chest.

North Fort Myers, Fla. (WFLA) – A North Fort Myers man was arrested Tuesday.

Members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Agriculture Department responded to a ranch on Sharon Drive, where they found a two-year-old calf on the neighbour’s property with at least five gunshot wounds.

The dolphin’s death is under investigation after it was discovered that he was beheaded on a remote island

Authorities said the calf was shot in courage, chest and hind legs. Body camera video shows the animal lying on the ground and struggling to move as the deputies approach.

“He must have shot her several times. I don’t think it was that shotgun,” one aide said.

The calf’s injuries were very serious and the veterinarian determined that it would need to be euthanized, the sheriff’s office explained.

The cattle owner told investigators that neighbor Hang Trin, 54, was pissed at him over the livestock threatening to jump over the fence and shoot the animal.

A search warrant was executed and deputies said they discovered that Trin, a .22 caliber gun, was believed to have been used to shoot a calf in the shed of his property.

He was charged with animal abuse and grand theft of commercial farm animals, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Innocent animals, in this case multiple felonies and prison time will be accountable for removing your frustration,” Sheriff Carmine Marceno said. “We know how meaningful these animals make to the farming community. We do not tolerate these actions. I am proud of my farming force for their immediate response and ability to arrest in this case.”
