FORT MYERS, Fla. (WFLA) – Lee County deputies continue their efforts to search for a man who went missing almost a year ago.

Eric Wall, 43, left his Fort Myers home on foot on June 18, 2024, and was unable to return to his family.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Eric is still missing after immediate investigation and search efforts conducted by detectives.

On Saturday, members of the main crime unit, missing persons units, analysts, marine and AG units, and dive team members gathered together with the search and rescue team to continue their search for Erica at the last known location he was seen before the loss.

“LCSO always devotes all the resources possible to find missing people in Lee County. Again, it’s not different, but while outdoor searches have proven to be a continuous challenge given the unpredictable weather and climatic conditions experienced in SWFL, our efforts remained unshakable.

Anyone with information about this case will be asked to contact the LCSO at 239-477-1000.
