Collier County, Fla. (WFLA) – Two convicted felons are behind the bar after they say they have stole hundreds of tequila from Costco, Florida.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said store surveillance video footage starting May 1 showed 28-year-old Courtney Jerrell Bryant and 40-year-old Nikita Lynn Hicks were hiding eight Don Giulios and silver guardian tequila, valued at $547.92.

Investigators said the pair escaped with a Silver Chevrolet Malibu.
On Tuesday evening, deputies said they had a traffic halt in Ginmalibu.
Driver Hicks had an aggressive warrant from Polk County. Her passenger, Bryant, was seen wearing the same clothes as seen in Costco footage, according to deputies. Both were taken into custody.
The sheriff’s office said Hicks was charged with a Polk warrant, felony theft for Costco’s theft and a traffic-related crime that led to traffic stops. Bryant is charged with violating state probation for Costco theft and petty felony theft.
Inside the vehicle, detectives said they discovered a large amount of stolen goods, including alcohol, personal hygiene products and clothing, including anti-theft devices.

Investigators said more charges are expected to be made to determine whether the pair is linked to a similar theft in Collier County. Additionally, multiple retail thefts are suspected in southwestern Florida.
