Her family says that longtime defenders of sex trafficking victims have died on her Australian farm after years of struggle.
Virginia Giuffre, the woman who settled a sexual assault lawsuit with Prince Andrew and accused the late Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse in her teenage years, has passed away. She was 41 years old.
Giuffre committed suicide on April 25th, her spokesperson, Dini von Muuffling, confirmed.
“This may be the saddest day of my life,” Giuffle’s lawyer Brad Edwards told NTD, sister media outlet for the Epoch Times.
Her spokesperson said Giuffre had died on a farm in Western Australia.
“Deeply loving, clever and funny, she was a beacon for other survivors and victims,” von Mueffling said in a statement. “She adored children and many animals. She was always more interested in me than herself. I miss her beyond words. It was a lifelong privilege to represent her.”
Giuffre was one of the most prominent Jeffrey Epstein sexual abuse accusations. She leaves behind three children with her husband, Robert Giuffre.
Giuffle accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when he was 17.
The civil lawsuit filed against Prince Andrew in 2021 was settled in secret by the prince giving money to Giuffre’s charity.
Giuffre’s last post on Instagram dated March 30th, announced that he had suffered from kidney and kidney failure after a bus accident and was given to living for four days.
The entry includes a photo of Giuffre lying on her side in what appears to be a hospital bed, with bruises visible on her face.
“My beautiful babies don’t have the clue how much I love them that they are lying and poisoned,” she wrote. “I miss them so much. I went through hell and came back 41 years later, and this hurts me so badly.
