Although the legislature is on a two-week break, members of the Florida GOP Congress have spoken to constituents about their recent success with many votes.
Illegal immigration and vote.
The first was HR 22, the American Voters Qualification Act. The Save Act is a bill that only American citizens can vote in federal elections, and requires evidence of citizenship that induimial must exist directly when registering for the vote.
The Legal Guide directs the state to establish a process for applicants who do not have documentary proof of citizenship or who have inconsistent documents due to name changes, but are actually US citizens who register for the ballot. The bill also requires states to remove non-citizens from existing voter roles, while also providing the tools they need to do so.
Introduction of federal judges
HR 1526, No Rogue Sulings (Norra) Act, is a bill to prevent the judiciary from weaponizing.

House GOP leaders say the bill was needed because federal judges were taking away President Trump’s enforcement agency simply because they didn’t like his policies.
Nora stops judges from issuing national injunctions and instead ensures that their rulings apply only to certain parties in the case.
Since President Trump took office, more than 15 national injunctions have been issued against his administration, ranging from issues such as birthright citizenship, border security and protecting children from life-changing medical procedures.
Prior to 1973, there was no established historical authority for federal judges to issue national injunctions. Federal courts could issue injunctions, but these were usually directed at specific parties and were not nationwide. The bill will bring the court back to the limited scope of judicial injunctions.
