NAPOLIA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida aide killed a “aggressive” dog chasing a “aggressive” dog in a Naples neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said it received eight 911 calls from residents in the 4,000 block of Pearl Harbor Drive about four German shepherds in the neighborhood.

Residents describe the animal as “aggressive” and one caller reports that the dog is trying to attack a child.
The sheriff’s office said the deputy had spoken with one of the residents when one of the dogs was “in direct charges by the deputy in an offensive manner.”
That’s when the aide fires his weapon and kills the dog.
The sheriff’s office said the aide was not injured. The case will be reviewed by the CCSO’s Specialist Office as the adjutant fires the weapon.
