Armed suspect asked for a report after robbing Florida Publix

ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – Florida representatives are looking for someone accused of stealing a Publix employee with a gun.

The armed robbery took place on Thursday at Publix off Lake Under Hill Road and Chickasaw Trail in Orlando, according to NBC affiliate WESH.

Florida charter captain, police to deal with virus conflict between fishermen

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the person entered the grocery store with a gun around 9:20pm and demanded money from the employee. The suspect reportedly was able to escape before authorities arrived.

Wesh said no explanation was provided to the suspect, including gender. It is unknown how much it was stolen from Publix.

No one was reportedly injured during the incident. This remains a continuous investigation.
