TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A video of Florida charter captain and fisherman getting caught up in a fierce debate under the Baron Collier Bridge, has made a round on social media.
The full video posted on Fisherman Gage Towles’ YouTube channel showed how the discussion began.

“Would you kick me out?” Horner asked.
The 22-year-old fisherman replied that he said it was a different person. However, the discussion continued to escalate as the fishermen cried out that the lights should be turned on in the middle of the night, and Horner cried.
“Boys, you can’t fly through the middle of the bridge,” replied Towles.

Things began to escalate when Horner brought the boat next to Towles’ ship.
Northport firefighters caught the camera and made a bowler along with the charter captain, the chief says
“I’m the best charter captain you’ll ever meet!” Horner said.
Horner then boarded the Towls boat, causing the young fisherman to panic as the captain cried out for you to hear. The encounter ended with Towles apologizing to Horner and bringing him back to the boat.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Punta Gorda Police Department, the Plant Fish and Widlife Conservation Committee, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Horner’s lawyers issued a statement to NBC affiliate WBBH, saying the captain was apologizing to Gage’s family.
“Bullock isn’t proud of how he acted, but it’s important to remember: we’re not the sum of the worst days.
In a description of the Towles YouTube video, he said, “I felt so weak because I didn’t want to post this video first, so I was already having a horrifying day and this was iced with cakes.”
“We’re now looking at it so that by pulling this captain away from the water, we can save Brock Horner or perhaps someone else’s life,” he writes.
