Previous Report: The Miami Gardens Police Department addressed the media about a deadly shooting involving a bus driver from the Miami-Dade Transit.

MIAMI GARDNS, Fla. (WFLA) – Two passengers have been identified who were shot dead by a bus driver in Miami Gardens over the weekend.

Miami Gardens police have identified 44-year-old Ronnie Stephen Wade Harley and 46-year-old Ejash bail Carter as victims.

Previous Report: Bus driver fatally shoots two passengers in South Florida, police say

Before 3am on Sunday, the driver of a Miami-Dade Transit bus pulled out a firearm and shot both passengers following an oral discussion. The two were airlifted to a nearby hospital, but later died from injuries.

The driver was detained on the scene, but his motives and pending fees remain unknown.

WTVJ reported that other passengers were on the bus at the time.

“At this is a sensitive case that needs to be carefully considered. We are working closely with SAO and will provide updates when it becomes available,” police said.
