Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (WFLA) – For the first time in six years, both Disney’s famous water parks will be open this summer.
April marks the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Beach Water Park, and after a brief closure next month, the park will reopen from May 21st to September 7th.
Disney said they would celebrate with park anniversary themed parties throughout April, meeting and greeting Disney characters, temporary tattoos and specialized products.
Blizzard Beach will be temporarily closed on May 1st, when the tropical-themed typhoon lagoon opens.
Guests can enjoy classic rides such as the Clash ‘n’Gasher, Hunger Kowabanga and Miss Adventure Falls all summer.
But when the sun sets, the fun never stops. This summer will also bring Disney H2O Glow’s return after the arrival.
By May 21st, both water parks are open for summer so guests can enjoy it.
