Ocala, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida doctor was accused of inappropriately touching a patient last week.
The Ocala Police Department was called to the Cardiovascular Institute in Central Florida to investigate reported batteries.

According to a Facebook post by Ocala Police, the victim, known as a woman in her 50s, claimed that her doctor, Jose Jacob, 65, had inappropriately touched her during an appointment. Police said Jacob reported asking inappropriate questions before he “hugged her and kissed her twice without her consent.”
According to the OPD, Jacob initially denied the allegations and later provided conflicting information.
“Additional information reveals prior allegations of inappropriate conduct by Jacob at this location and elsewhere in North Carolina,” Ocala Police said.
He was arrested in Lake County on March 28th and charged with battery.
