st. Lucy County, Fla. (WFLA) – A homicide investigation is underway after a Florida woman was found dead in a hotel room Monday morning.
St. Lucy County deputies were called to Best Western in Port St. Lucy around 11am Monday after finding a woman identified as 58-year-old Toni Lynn Marie Trab and a woman who was not lying in her room.
About ten minutes later, St. Lucie Fire Rescue declared that Trabb had died to the deceased.

“Due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, we contacted the 19th Judicial Circuit Inspector’s office,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators determined Tarb’s death was murder later that afternoon.

“We do not tolerate violence in our community,” Sheriff Richard R. del Toro Jr. said.
Investigators said Monday that the man will use Trabb’s credit card to pay for his hotel room. The sheriff’s office said it identified the man as Carlos Tito Kaban, 51, and named him the suspect in the case.

Investigators say that Bagh met Trabb a few months ago and they were dating on and off.
According to the sheriff’s office, Bagn spent time in prison for sexually fired. He was released in 2023.
At 11am Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said detectives were notified by authorities in Tifton, Georgia, and found out that the bag was driving the victim’s car.
Detectives from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office are heading to Georgia to talk to investigators and bags.
