Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) – According to reports, there are 10 of America’s most dangerous beaches in Florida.

Researchers at Tideschart said they analyzed 528 beaches across the United States and found that sunlit beaches were at the most risk.

This report focused on three main factors for determining rankings: surf zone deaths, shark attacks, and hurricanes. Each beach was scored out of 100 out of 100 to determine its risk.

News Myrna Beach has taken the top spot as the most dangerous beach in the United States with a score of 76.92.

Sunshine State may have the “most dangerous” beaches in America, but the report found Hawaii has the safest beaches. We ranked Kaleporepo Beach as America’s safest beach.
