Racer excited to hit the NASCAR track in Homestead Miami

HOMESTED, Fla. (WFLA) – Justin All-Gairer follows up on Xfinity’s victory in Las Vegas and sits in the championship rankings in his victory in Vegas.

Connor Zilish will become another driver to find a truck he looks like.

“Homestead, I raced there last year so I’m going to go to places I know,” Zilish said.

Zilisch finished 12th in October last year with Homestead. The junior motorsport driver took five positions in the Vegas ranking last week and appears to continue his climb this weekend.

For NASCAR, Josh Barry is looking for another good weekend at Homestead after his victory in Vegas.

“I love Homestead,” Barry said. “To be honest, I raced really solidly on four cars last year, so I’m hoping for the same.”

One of NASCAR’s hottest drivers was Chris Bell, who said Homestead was coming to a key part of the season, and that was his favorite truck.

“It’s the most unique half of the miles on the calendar, as it’s truly oval and the only half of the miles that’s very slippery,” Bell said.

Denny Hamlin said he’s part of his favourite Homestead.

“There are many traits that make it difficult, and it makes it challenging, and I always feel that the more I try at the racecourse, the more I can shine my talent,” he said.

Another hot item to keep an eye on this week is the giant brush fire that burns over 3,000 acres near the truck and closes the A1A road leading to the Florida Key. However, this weekend is not expected to be a factor for drivers.

Homestead is a favorite track for many drivers and race action.
