ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – A woman has been charged in connection with an incident late last year in which Orlando International Airport authorities say they found a dead dog in a bathroom.
Orlando police said officers were sent to the airport on December 16, 2024 after receiving a report from airport staff who had encountered a dead dog in a woman’s toilet.

Based on their investigation, police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of dog owner Alison Lawrence, NBC affiliate Wesh reported.
A spokesman for the Greater Orlando Aviation Administration (GOAA) said he believes Wesh Lawrence owned the dog in the toilet before passing the security checkpoint.
Officials said she was about to board the flight but did not have the proper documentation to allow the plane’s dog and could not bring her pet with her.
She was arrested in Lake County on Tuesday, March 18th. Police said she posted $5,000 in bonds.
As of Wednesday, the investigation into the incident is still underway. Goaa said it will work fully with law enforcement, saying that pet passengers should visit the TSA website before heading to the airport to check the restrictions and requirements.
