NEW YORK – After the well-reviewed host’s debut, the Golden Globes are returning comedian Nicky Glazer to host the 2026 ceremony.
Awards show producer Dick Clark Productions announced on Thursday that Glazer will return to the 83rd Glove in January next year. Glaser, the first woman to host a show solo, successfully rocked the ceremony, which she called “Ozenpic’s biggest night.”
“Hosting the Golden Globes this year has definitely been the most enjoyable thing I’ve ever had in my career,” Glaser said in a statement. “I can’t wait to do it again. This time, I will finally recognize my talent in front of the team in “The White Lotus” and will have a shadowy past as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor in Season 4. ”
According to Nielsen, the glove, whose top awards were awarded to the films “The Brutalist” and “Emilia Pérez” and the television series “Shōgun” and “Hacks”, attracted 9.3 million viewers, a 2% DIP from the previous year. Like this year’s broadcast, next year’s glove will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
“Nicki Glaser has brought refreshing sparks and fearless wit to the Golden Globes stage this year,” said Globes president Helen Hone. “Her keen humor and bold presence sets an unforgettable night tone, making the ceremony lively and feel almost all the fun.”
