(Nexstar) – This week, Trader Joe announced a recall of two lots of popular Jerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, a non-trader Joe brand item sold by the grocery giant. Recalled glass water bottles imagine concerns they could break, causing the risk of cutting and slashing.
German-owned Gerolsteiner recalls about 61,500 bottles, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. Customers are advised to stop using the bottle immediately.

The recalled bottles were sold at Trader Joe’s stores between December 2024 and January 2025. The cost is about $3.
Here’s how to identify a recalled bottle:
The Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water 750ml Glass Bottle has red, white and blue labels on the front of the bottle containing the brand name “Gerolsteiner” lot number: 11/28/2024 L and/or 11/27/2024 L.
Bottles were sold individually and in 15 cases.
There have been no reports of injuries so far, according to the recall.

Customers will need to return the recalled bottle to the store where they purchased it for a full refund, Gerolsteiner said. According to the recall, customers will not be asked for proof of purchase, but they will need to return the recalled bottle to get a refund in cash or credit.
For more information, please see the USCPSC or Trader Joe recall page. Consumers with questions or concerns should call (800) 777-0633 online or via Gerolsteiner online to 8:30am to 5pm.
