North Charleston, S.C. — Three Tesla Chargers burn in a South Carolina car park and apparently dressed.
According to a report by North Charleston police, the man blew a crude reference to President Donald Trump on the pavement next to a charging station near the Charleston outlet mall on Friday.
The man then ignited unidentified ingredients packed in beer bottles and began to throw bottles at the station, police said. While doing so, he caught his clothes on fire on his back and ran out of the parking lot, an eyewitness told police.
North Charleston Police spokesman Herb Jacobs said Tuesday. The agency handed over the investigation to the Federal Alcohol Administration, tobacco, firearms and explosives.
Investigators gathered bottles of beer, and firefighters reduced power to the charger and extinguished the flames.
