ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – A tornado touched Monday morning in Seminole County, north of Orlando.

A radar-seen tornado landed along Interstate 4 around 9:30am, according to a report from NBC affiliate WESH.

The storm knocked out power, knocking down trees in the area, causing minor damage to nearby structures.

“At 9:49am, the Seminole County Fire Department responded to a house collapsed in the 2100 block of Blue Iris in Longwood due to weather effects,” the fire department wrote in Florida. “There were two residents, neither of them were injured. The residents are now safe. The other homes are being evaluated for damage and building officials are on the scene. Avoid the area unless necessary.
