Influencer Andrew Tate called the Florida Attorney General’s decision to begin investigating him and his brother Tristan “absolute communism.”
“Absolute Communism. I was in America for five days. I sat on my laptop and did a podcast. Insane, “The older Tate brother wrote in a post on social platform X on Tuesday. “I’m extremely disappointed in the US.”
“This is not America I know. It’s a sad and sad day for America,” he added. i’m not afraid. I’m really disappointed. โ
His statement surprised authorities after arriving in Sunshine State. He said he has not been warned about Tates’ decision to re-enter the United States as he faces criminal allegations of trafficking and sexual assault in Romania.
The Tate Brothers retain US-UK dual citizenship and were subject to travel restrictions until late last month.
The two denied any involvement in the illegal activities, but Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) made clear in response to their arrival that criminal activities would not be tolerated.
“Florida isn’t where you welcome it, there’s that kind of act in the air, and I don’t know how it came to this. DeSantis told reporters last week, praised State Attorney General James Usmier for taking the first step towards an unexpected visit to his brother.
But Andrew Tate criticised DeSantis’ leadership, pointing to the 2022 seizing of the FBI’s 2022 classification documents and property from President Trump’s Mar Lago Resort in West Palm Beach as a sign of his disloyalty.
“Desantis allowed the Fed to raid the president’s house. Never forget Mar Arago,” Tate wrote to X.
