The tech giant officially welcomed the “newest member” of the family, the iPhone 16e, on Wednesday afternoon.
Apple CEO Tim Cook teased a new “family member” last week and added it to its lineup. The top-level theory was the new iPhone SE, “a mid-range phone with a brand’s reputation focused on matching the power of major iPhone lines.”

Apple said the fourth edition of the budget-friendly iPhone has grown, using Face ID, has a USB-C charging port, and includes a 48-megapixel camera lens. The new smartphone will also debut Apple’s first cellular modem.

The new devices will be available in matte black and matte white. Apple’s iPhone 16e silicone case appears in winter blue, fuchsia, lake green, black and white.

According to an Apple news release, the new iPhone 16E is $599.
Apple’s trade-in policy allows customers to earn up to $120 in credits when trading their iPhone 11, according to Apple’s news release.
When will the iPhone 16e be sold?
The new smartphone can be pre-ordered on February 21st and available in stores on February 28th.
