The Sunshine Protection Act aims to end the old daylight savings time forever. It is not signed by the law. There are two proverbs for daylit savings: “spring forward” and “fallback.”

Daylight saving time begins one month after Super Bowl Sunday. It’s a good bet that most people aren’t satisfied with the change in time.

The Super Bowl LIX or Super Bowl 59 will be on February 9, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana, along with the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. On March 9th, you will need to set the wall clock forward for an hour, known as “Spring Forward,” and adjust your sleep schedule again. (Hopefully at that point, the Eagles, Chief fans, or general football fans will be able to go beyond the Super Bowl 59 results and instead adapt to the start of daylight savings time.)

Continue reading to see why daylight saving time exists and whether President Donald Trump’s plan to end daylight saving time works.

Below are things you need to know about DST, daylight savings and daylight savings in 2025.

When will Daylight Savings Time Change 2025 occur in the US?

Participating states will turn their clocks an hour before the second Sunday of March in spring. Daylight saving time ends on the first Sunday of November, every fall. That’s when the state puts the clock back to an hour.

When will the time change in DST 2025 move forward?

It's difficult to wake up on Monday after savings in the daytime.

In the US, the watch will officially advance at 2am on Sunday, March 9th, 2025.

Are you buying summer time at 2am on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, or getting an hour of sleep?

The clock loses an hour of sleep in “Spring Forward” and moves forward at 2am, an hour after the daytime savings start.

In the fall when DST ends, we will “fall back” in November for an hour. That’s when people get an hour of sleep.

When will the change in daylight saving time return?

Daylight Saving Time Ends in Fall – The clock will return at 2am on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Why does daylight saving time change at 2am?

In an interview with Time Magazine, author Michael Downing quoted his book Spring Forward: The Annual Madness of Daylight Saving Time, saying how Amtrak and the Railways watch at 2am on DST Explain what has changed to I did.

When daylight saving time was established, no trains left the station at 2am on Sunday in New York City.

“2am on Sunday was when they suspended the minimum amount of train travel across the country,” Downing said.

What is Daylight Savings? Tip: It may not actually be time or money

Which US states do not change their daylight savings time clock?

As of July 25, 2022, the US Department of Transportation noted that only Hawaii and parts of Arizona state are not participating in daylight savings time. Navajo is the only exception to Arizona.

The territory of the US Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands is also not participating.

According to the website, states may be exempt from observing daylight savings under state law in accordance with the revised Uniform Time Act.

Things you need to know about daylight saving time.

Why does daylight saving time exist?

What is the Sunshine Protection Act?

The 2021 Sunshine Protection Act was created to make Daylight Savings Time a new permanent standard time and was unanimously passed by the US Senate in 2022, but not passed by the US House of Representatives.

There is currently no news on when it will be played and signed to the law.

When does the US remove daylight saving time? When will DST be permanently over?

Despite the approval of the Sunshine Protection Act, which was unanimously approved by the US Senate in 2022, there is no permanent end.

Is Donald Trump planning on ending Daylight Savings Time in 2025?

President Donald Trump did not set a date, but through the truth social on social media platforms he declared that he would eliminate daylight savings time – it also requires approval from Congress.

“The Republicans use their best efforts to eliminate daylight saving time. This has small but strong constituencies, but daylight saving time is inconvenient and very expensive for our country.”

Did daylight saving time begin for farmers?

No, according to almanac.com.

“Many Americans mistakenly point out farmers as the driving force behind daytime savings. In fact, farmers were their strongest enemies, and as a group, they stubbornly resisted change from the start,” says Catherine. Beckman wrote on Almanac.com.

“When the war ended, the peasants and working class people who had tongues began to speak out. They demanded an end of daylight saving time, claiming that it benefited only the office workers and leisure classes. And city residents.”

When will the 2025 daylight savings start, is it a dst fallback end?

Daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 9th and ends on November 2nd, 2025.
